Ukraine: gas consumption in metallurgy up in August 2017

In August Ukrainian metal companies increased natural gas consumption by 10 million cubic meters MoM, to 140 million cubic meters.

Average daily gas consumption increased by 0.3 million cubic meters, to 4.5 million cubic meters.

In January-August metal companies consumed 1.2 billion cubic meters of gas, up by 2% YoY. Average daily consumption was 4.7 million cubic meters against 4.6 million cubic meters in 8 months of 2016.

Electricity consumption in 8 months dropped by 12% YoY, to 7.5 billion kW-h. (Ukrainian metal)

Average daily gas consumption stayed at the level of 4.5 million cubic meters.

In January-September gas consumption increased by 3% YoY, to 1.3 billion cubic meters. Average daily gas consumption totaled 4.7 million cubic meters against 4.6 million cubic meters in January-September 2016.

According to Ukrmetallurgpromgas, in 11 months gas consumption grew by 3% YoY, to 1.6 billion cubic meters.

Average daily consumption dropped by 0.1 million cubic meters, to 5.7 million cubic meters.

In January-February Ukrainian metal companies consumed 340 million cubic meters of natural gas, down by 12% YoY.

Average daily consumption totaled 5.75 million cubic meters as opposed to 6.55 million cubic meters in 2 months of 2017 (with uncontrolled territories) and 5.65 million cubic meters without them.

In 2016 average daily consumption totaled 4.8 million cubic meters of gas as opposed to 5.5 million in 2015.

Electricity consumption increased by 4% YoY, to 12.9 billion kW-h.
